Common Questions

BEFORE YOU
REACH OUT

Do I need prior experience?
No. The program is built to take you from zero to session-ready. Several of our graduates had never touched a mic before day one.
Is 8 weeks really enough time to learn this?
Yes, because you're learning by doing, in a real studio, with working engineers, not sitting through theory. That's what makes it faster than a 2-year program, not shorter on substance.
Will this actually fit around my schedule?
Yes. It's one 4-hour session a week, that's less time than most people spend scrolling on a weekend. In exchange, you build a practical skill you can use for your own music, freelance sessions or studio work. And with the Sound Engineer Guarantee, we keep supporting you if you do the work but have not reached our graduation standard.
What if I finish and still don't feel confident?
That’s what our Sound Engineer Guarantee is for. Attend all 8 weeks and complete the work. If you still cannot independently record and mix a complete session to our graduation standard, you get 4 additional weeks of 1-on-1 support (calls, feedback and demo reviews) at no charge.
Are you accredited? Will employers take this seriously?
In this industry, portfolio and real work matter far more than a diploma. Our own studio has never asked an engineer we hired for a diploma, only their work. A faster, cheaper path to a real, provable skill often carries more weight than an expensive credential that doesn't guarantee a job either.
What are the payment options?
A deposit plus split payments, or financing up to 24 months, so you can start without paying the full amount upfront. Ask about your options on the call.
Is this in-person? Can I do it online?
In-person only. You cannot learn signal flow, mic placement, or how to read a session through a screen. The whole point is being in the room.
What's it like being in such a small group?
With 6 people max, you get real attention every session, nobody gets lost in the crowd or falls behind unnoticed. Most people find it easier to ask questions and make mistakes in a room of 6 than a room of 30.
What happens on the discovery call?
20 minutes. We find out where you're at, what you want to achieve, and whether the program is the right fit. No pitch. If it's not a match, we'll tell you.
